Hello from me
I’m Lucy, a solo mum to George and Martha, my best friends and the reason I smile. I live in a beautiful countryside village and love music and the beach. I am happiest with muddy boots or sandy toes, walking my dog, who looks very much like Ziggy!
I have been a Nurse in the UK for 20 years and specialised as a Neonatal Nurse for 16. Inspired by this, I have an empathy and passion to continue to help and spread smiles, so here I am starting a new small business adventure with
Ziggy and Wibble 💕
About Seeking Smiles
Seeking Smiles hopes to spread love, kindness and smiles. We know that children face some tough challenges that affect their emotional well-being. That is why we created special educational books that provide an insight into the hospital environment, teach children what they may encounter, encourage positive interactions with their siblings and make them feel like the heroes they are. These books are more than just stories, they are emotional tool kits that help parents explain difficult topics for children understand their value, develop resilience, engage and open up about their feelings in a safe space.
See what other people think...
"Jaze absolutely loves his book, this is such a thoughtful effort to include children caring for their siblings, they will reap the benefit of this all their life"
"Wow what an amazing book, my son and daughter love the characters and are understanding the Neonatal Unit more. They now feel a lot happier visiting their new baby"
I bought this for my granddaughter. I was so surprised as she pointed at the front and said baby straight away. I didn't think she would understand, but she loved it especially the rainbow and doggie 🐾
